Audacity - A free, easy-to-use audio editor and recorder.
LoudBlog - An easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS) for publishing audio content on the web.
Ourmedia - A website for publishing audio and video and creating Podcasts.
Songbird - A media player for your managing your music files and subscribing to podcasts. It functions in a similar way to iTunes, allowing you to create playlists. Songbird is the only media player which works with the Firefox web browser so you can use it to surf the internet and find audio files to download.
Video Lan Client (VLC) - An audio/video player that will read almost any media format, including DVDs and VCDs. It can be used to author and burn CDs and DVDs, encode video and connect to audio and video streams, and for many other purposes.
