Flickr - a popular website where you can save and share your digital photos. You can also search within the millions of photos that other users have contributed and use their photos in your own projects, if they have used an open content license.
GIMP - image editing software similar to Adobe Photoshop for tasks such as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems and is available in many languages.
